That depends as always on us as individuals. In the highly scientific age of the last century perhaps the machine has had more attention than the man. Perhaps disease has had more attention than the patient. Let us remember that the microscope does not observe nor do our books think. The reputation of a Medical School will depend not so much on its hospital and laboratories as upon the character and ability of both its students and teachers.
